This stunning vintage single malt scotch whisky from Macallan was bottled by Gordon & Macphail under the Speymalt label.
Established in 1824 the distillery overlooks some of the finest fishing beats on the River Spey.
Distilled in November 1967, this 49 Year Old Macallan is a rare full bodied whisky with lingering charred oak flavours, bottled in 2016 at an ABV of 43%.
This extraordinarily aged whisky has been exclusively matured in first fill sherry casks resulting in a balanced classic Speyside whisky which comes complete with the original presentation box.
Syrupy rich aromas of honeyed fruits and sherry. Well balanced Christmas cake notes, fruitiness, sweet berries with a hint of honey, vanilla and oak spice. Palate coating lingering smooth finish.
