A rare, 44 year old single malt whisky from the Macallan distillery.

Distilled in 1950 and bottled at 43% ABV in 1994 under Gordon and Macphail's Speymalt range comes this superb, rare 44 year old Speymalt.

Colour:
Deep Orange Red.

Body:
Rich and complex.

Cask Type:
Sherry Butts.

Style:
Robust - yet smooth.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep Orange Red.

Nose: Full and rich with notes of cinnamon, manuka honey, fresh coffee and calvados. Also there is a hint of Sherry, cut fennel and delicious fruit flavours.

Palate: Full-bodied and rich. Present are notes of rum and fruitcake, hints of spice and a slightly earthy note with a soft peat.

Finish: Long. Oak develops with a touch of cereal sweetness.
