Gaelic for ‘Golden Salmon’, Bradan Orach is a classic, easy drinking Speyside malt whisky, matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks.
It is a tribute to the beauty and lush rolling hillsides that surround the river where the salmon finds their home.
Though 2 million litres are distilled each year, most of that will go into blends!
The Bradan Orach is aged exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels.
Nose: Full of rich malt, lemon, and some vanilla. There is a bit of a dirty quality on the nose, but despite the unevenness of the whisky, it is a good value for its price.
Palate: Fruity and balanced, much like the nose with creamy vanilla, oak and warming hints of spice.
Finish: Full of fruity and honey tastes followed by a slight bitterness.
