Description

Sandy Macnab's, bottled by Macnab Distilleries Ltd - a 5cl miniature bottled at 43% ABV.

The full size of this bottle was imported to Spain by Reunidos, we estimate in the 1980s.

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Great nose, toffee apple, hint of lemon, fudge, salted caramel, some other fruits either fresh pineapple or melon.

Palate: Everything that the nose suggested is on the palate, loads of toffee (light not dark treacle) mixed in with fruit salad. Gets more syrupy as time goes on.

Finish: Pretty long, lip smacking, a simple pleasure. The toffee actually towards the end is more like caramel but the toffee sweetness profile remains.
