La Rica Tubitos Cigar - 1 Single

I am new to cigars and bought these because of the mainly positive reviews..I am very pleased and would recommend them to other new cigar smokers as a good every day smoke

At their best these little tubitos by La Rica are a delight, spicy wood, aromatic with a wonderful spicy after taste, they really can be surprisingly good for a small cigar. The problem is they are so inconsistent in terms of their construction. Perhaps 30% of them are so heavily plugged that they are not smokeable. It's such a shame as they are unusual and very satisfying when made well. The price is great....if only La Rica could maintain some quality in construction.

Just finished this stick and had to write a review immediately. This is the best "cheap" cigar I've had so far. It's full of flavour, without being too overbearing. Draw is good, with plenty of smoke. The first third was such a pleasant surprise. I got a woody flavour, with a bit of leather. It was smooth, rich, a real joy. This was consistent throughout.Later,I got a mild, earthy flavour to add to the taste's complexity. The final third gave me plenty of warm, rich smoke that just ticked every box for me. This cigar is a revelation. I cannot recommend it enough.

Now I can't speak for the general population, but mine wasn't plugged as others seemed to suggest. It was a bit tight on the draw, incredibly tightly packed, but to be honest it really seems a decent amount of quality packed into a small cigar. It's not for beginners, despite a novice price, size and general brand. Its a deep full bodied nicaraguan, not fantastic tasting in my opinion but I have a taste for sweet cubans. If you like a strong cigar, feel happy to grab one of these for a quick smoke - well not too quick, it lasts long for its size. So its good but it tastes too spicy, and it seems theres a high chance of it being plugged. But I'd say its good enough if you like hefty cigar tastes and can live with the chance of it being plugged. Reviewed by CigarHub on YouTube.
