La Rica Robusto Maduro Cigar - 1 Single

Having just received a couple of these in the post today I thought I'd give one a try, it being my old friend and mines regular Friday Crib night. Having sampled a few of La Rica's smaller offerings several times in that past, as quick smokes, and found them not to bad I was very pleasantly surprised. The Robusto Maduro lit well and had an even burn to the end, which was a good couple of rounds of the crib board, produced a good haze and a firm ash, which as a relative novice I'm learning is one of the signs of a well made cigar. The flavor, while of cause not as exotic as a good Cuban of similar size, was very satisfying and remained cool and mellow right to the end with no bitter after taste. At the incredibly reasonable price these come at I would not hesitate to recommend giving one a shot and will definitely think about ordering more in the future. The remaining one I'll be leaving in the box for a while and can only imagine that it can't fail to get even better.
