A full bodied Virginia tobacco with a slight sweetness and extremely pleasant smoking characteristics. The name was taken from the blacksmith in the tale 'The sweet maid from Perth' who was 'a man of special force'.

Bought this blind, thought id give it a try as a huge fan of rattrays and WOW!! the tin note to me is of dark chocolate, espresso and rich fruit cake? Jet black cavendish greets you, i was sure this would bite, but no! Smooth earthy satisfying smoke, medium strength, burns without re light, a great smoke with a glass of dark beer, fill yer boots! Wonderful stuff.

