We are delighted to announce Ramon Allones Specially Selected Orchant Seleccion Havana cigars. As part of our last Orchant selection limited release for the year 2016. Just 32 boxes available as selected by Mr Orchant.

We have already had Orchant Seleccion boxes of Ramon Allones Belicosos (UK regional edition) and 898’s, as well as the previous Specially Selected in 2015.

These are double banded with the Orchant Seleccion band.

Orchant Seleccion Havana cigars are double banded as well as branded on the box or cabinet with the distinctive Orchant Seleccion bands and labels denoting that the cigars have been personally selected by Mitchell Orchant from the humidor of Hunters and Frankau the UK importers of Havana cigars.

Mr Orchant considers these cigars the finest quality Havana cigars selected for their appearance, blend, condition and specific vintage.

This cigar was originally created for our importers in the UK Hunters and Frankau. A spicy and earthy Robusto rich and deeply complex.Possibly the best robusto for an after dinner smoke with a good cool easy draw and characteristic dark wrappers, the Ramon Specially is a firm favourite.

One of the very best robustos you will smoke, regardless of price. Packs a punch, but never comes across as overpowering. Flavour depth is excellent all the way through, with coffee, cocoa, spice and toasted nuts and even something floral or herby going on. I’ve always loved this cigar, but the Selction Orchant adds another dimension to a classic. Construction is near perfect, as is the burn and draw, making this a true star in a format that has some heavyweight contenders as peers. Buy one and smoke it, you’ll know what I mean!


I love the Specially Selected, they remain one of the very finest robustos, and the Orchant Selection are excellent examples. The few OS I have tried have had perfect slightly firm draws drawing copious mouthfuls of thick smoke and burning evenly. A strong, rich and full flavoured cigar from the beginning, with complex coffee bean and cocoa, sweet leather and lashings of delicious mineral saltiness. The flavour profile doesn't exactly change a great deal down the cigar but is very complex the entire way through, which I love. Some subtle herbal and dark woody flavours. Strength steadily builds throughout with waves of extra cream and sweetness washing through, and more exotic spice developing in the final third. These are still relatively young and as delicious and already quite well balanced as they still crave long term aging to really show their full potential. Exquisite.

