Sheep Dip malt whisky is a Multi Award winning brand - woven from 16 single malt whiskies, then married in American Oak Casks to produce a vatting of alluring complexity.
Pigs Nose is a premium blended whisky, noted for its distinctive smoothness, whose backbone is Invergordon grain which is enhanced by specially selected aged Speyside, Highland, Islay and Lowland Malts.
Sheep's Dip:
Nose: Caramel and vanilla with yet more caramel in the sense of hot, caramel popcorn covered in butter. Maraschino cherry, light brown sugar and toffee brittle.
Palate: Crème anglais and vanilla pods in caster sugar. Mild, rounded sherry spice with yet more toffee making this whisky a sweet one!
Finish: Again sweet but the finish is a touch peppery with a hint of cinnamon.
Pig's Nose:
Nose: Gristy and youthful, some fruit, barley malt, porridge. Young but very sweet.
Palate: Creamy and sweet. Soft, gentle, relatively gristy, slightly oily and coastal with hints of salt.
Finish: Medium length, salty butters and caramel.
