The first Peterson patents awarded to Peters in the 1890’s would revolutionise the pipe-making world and turn a fledgling idea into what has become the oldest continuously operating pipe-maker in the world.
Peterson are the oldest briar pipe makers in the world, still using hand tools for each and every pipe, and still checking everything by eye.
The Short Classics pipe series introduced in 2016 is Petersons "shorter" version of the pipe maker's classic churchwarden pipe bowl shapes with a couple of speciality shapes added to set this handsome series apart. With a beautiful brown stem and bowl.
Presented in an original Peterson pouch and box.
This pipe has been individually photographed, so that the pipe you see in the picture is the pipe you will receive.
