The first Peterson patents awarded to Peters in the 1890’s would revolutionise the pipe-making world and turn a fledgling idea into what has become the oldest continuously operating pipe-marker in the world.
From Peterson's home in Dublin, Ireland, they are proud to have a dedicated team of craftsmen and women who for generations are the skilled artisans behind each Peterson pipe, giving shape and form to each briar.
Their craftsmanship is the signature of Peterson's name.
For the 2018 release Peterson are proud to partner again with the passionate craftsman Claudio Albieri. Based in Ferrara Italy, Claudio and his family have a long and rich history in expertly crafting fine leather goods.
Together, they have created a unique set which showcases the best of Petersons' crafts. Each set comprises one Peterson pipe made from the best quality briar presented in a leather box which was personally hand made by Claudio.
Each pipe bears one classic hall marked silver work and has been individually numbered using the traditional hand-stamping method. A corresponding number has been hand pressed and stitched into the leather box by Claudio also.
A total of only ten sets have been produced and the signature overleaf are that of each of their craftsmen and women who have each contributed to the creation of this unique set.
