An independent bottling of 27 year old Glenrothes malt whisky matured in a single cask from June 1988 to September 2015.
A beautiful glass decanter bottle complete with glass stopper, only 264 bottles were filled from cask no: 7856.
The whisky in non-chil-filtered and bottled at cask strength at 50.6% ABV.
Copper gold, clear and bright. The nose is rich and spicy with dark berry fruits as the richness continues onto the palate which is full of flavour from candied orange and fruit compote.
The finish on this Glenrothes Golden Pearl 1988 is very long and medium sweet.
