La Paz Wilde - 100% tobacco in robust shades of brown
La Paz cigars were manufactured for the first time in 1880 in Holland in the factory of Theodorus Antonius Josephus, which made cigars for King William III. From there the company would change hands plenty of times.
It wasn’t until 1969 that La Paz first launched their Wilde cigar range (originally named Wilde Havana despite not being of purely Cuban origin) These cigars are aesthetically rough, looking more like a hand rolled cigarillo, something not unlike a cowboys cigar.
An open end cigarillo makes it easy to light with no resistance. The looseness of the cigar also allows for an easy draw that provides a smooth smoke and as a result means these cigars are never an effort.
