The spirits that create this whisky come from a 7-year maturation in first fill American White Oak Casks.
The result is a whisky ‘encapsulated a tender innocence enhanced with hints of honeyed fruitiness and a soft tinge of spice.
Although not officially released, Kanya by Paul John has been named ‘The Asian Whisky of The Year’ by the World Famous Whisky Expert Jim Murray in his latest book – Whisky Bible 2018.= and Mr Murray had this to say.

Kanya by Paul John will be limited to 1500 bottles worldwide,
Nose: A light citrus with manuka honey arrives early; an intense malt is infused with ripe peach, apricot and vanilla.
Palate: Superb mouthfeel of rich creaminess. The oak delivers a soft, sweet, delectable butterscotch.
Finish: Warm spices suffuse the toasted oak, and the slightest of saltiness offers the friendliest of finishes.
