If there is one particularly famous cigar factory in Havana, it is Partagas. The factory was opened in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas and it has been making the cigars that bear his name ever since.

A Partagas is immediately recognisable by its deep, earthly flavour. The character of its blend springs from a selection of filler and binder tobaccos grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone and chosen for their unmistakable richness of flavour and aroma.

Tasting Notes

A well constructed, full bodied little cigar bursting with flavour.

91 / 100

"...Toasty and woody at first, this little smoke gets strong quickly, loading the palate with heavy notes of nutty marzipan, espresso beans and a ground red pepper spice..."

Very nutty and leathery. Agree with previous comments on poor construction. It’s not offensive as a result though. Enjoyable but as with other reviewers wouldn’t go rushing back for more. written by nick

Another one of these middle of the road, dependable but nothing fancy midday smokes. Solid leather and earth flavors but no fireworks. written by JM USA

Good medium strength, medium flavored minuto that plays second fiddle to San Cristobal. written by ca

Bought the beginners humidor and one of these was included. My only previous experiences have been with Montecristo and I can say that these are a bit heavy going. Maybe these are more for the experienced smoker. I wouldn't go back for more of these. Maybe in a few years but at the moment a bit harsh for me. written by Andy B

The wrapper is very toothy, veiny and extremely rough. The draw was a little strained. I noticed some leathery notes, but it seemed a little papery, with a very flat finish.Ill probably pass on this one the next time around. written by Michael
