A West Coast Highland distillery overlooking the harbour, and surrounded by the town of Oban.
Oban is one of only two remaining distilleries in the Western Highlands, and its stills are some of the smallest in Scotland.
Nose: Rich, sweet and smoky. There is a nice fruit element with delicious oranges, lemons and pears with sea-salt, notes of cut hay and wood and peaty smokiness.
Palate: Thick and full. Notes of citrus and autumn fruits - dried figs and honey-sweet spices. The oak is quite rich with cereal and malt. A smoky malty dryness finishes the palate.
Finish: A long and a smooth-sweet and fruity finish with oak-wood, dryness and a grain of salt.
