This 2008 Mortlach was distilled in March 2008, aged in a pair of bourbon barrels and bottled at eight years of age by Signatory.
Bottled at 59% ABV and without any added colouring or chill-filtration; meaning the whisky retains it's original aroma and taste as per the norm for this delightful range.

Nose: Toasted barley gradually becomes a powerful theme of this Mortlach nose, with warming hints of pepper and sweetness from honey.
Palate: Rye and more sweetness from marmalade as oak-y heat develops.
