The cigar looked flawless, smelt amazing and had been stored perfectly. From first light it was nothing short of BRILLIANT. The first 1/3 was fantastic! Not very spicy, more Monty number 2 esc, cream and buttery. After the first third, either the cigar dulled, or I got used to it. The stick turned slightly blander and less exciting in its flavours, but as I say, this could have been me settling into it and taking the No.2 for granted after the initial influx of perfection. The draw was perfect throughout, and the burn: Faultlessly even. Could I buy a box of these? I'd probably have to try a second to be sure, but first I want to directly compare the Regatta this weekend. A Cigar I have smoked many times before, so I expect a close competition. I am not the number 2's biggest fan, as it can be overwhelmingly buttery to the pallet. But as usual, there is a time and a place for a multitude of different smokes. My date last night with the petit was pretty dam good!
