Michters US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon Limited Release Bourbon - 70cl 45.7%

The US*1 Toasted barrel finish bourbon limited release is a ground-breaking whisky expression. Michters produce this toasted finish bourbon by using their US*1 Kentucky straight bourbon, this is then further aged for an additional period in a second custom hand made barrel. Its at this point the second barrel is assembled and then further air dried for 18 months, after drying the barrel is toasted; but never charred. This is what makes the US*1 toasted barrel bourbon so unique and gives it such a delicious taste, as well as presenting a remarkable achievement, given that nothing extra is added or done during its second placement in the tasted barrel.
