The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer and school teacher.
Now owned by the Edrington Group, The Macallan prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow 'cut' of new make spirit and exceptional cask management.
It is the most sought after whisky for collectors, regularly setting records at auctions all round the world.
The Archival Series continues to rediscover Macallan advertisements from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s.
The illustration used for the front of this third folio was from a Victorian edition of Punch magazine and highlights how whisky is best made in cold weather.
Folio 3 is comes with a beautifully illustrated hardback book which contains a USB stick continuing the advertising archive.
Only 2000 were made available and each sold at The Macallan Distillery.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - please note, minor marking to tin box.
