Introducing the second release in Lindores' Friar John Cor, Cask Strength Congregation Chapters. Each of the releases has unique cask makeup.
Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Friar John Cor Congregation Batch Chapter 2 has been matured in a blend of Bourbon, STR Wine Barriques, and Rum-Peated Casks.
As with all Lindores bottlings it has no added colouring, is non-chill filtered and bottled onsite at Lindores Abbey Distillery.
Nose: Mellow maple syrup, roasted banana, fruity dates, apples and spicy cinnamon, caramelised demerara sugar with subtle waves of earthy peat.
Palate: Rich fruity pears, roasted banana with spicy cinnamon, caramelized nutty almonds followed by a pleasant smoky earthy peat and subtle maritime notes. Very smooth velvety texture, well balanced and complex.
Finish: Long lasting with lots of character.
