As the main variety, the Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine the classic elegance of the Lafite style, while the ageing gives it charm and a well-rounded character.
Colour: Bright ruby.
Nose: Refined and subtle, dominated by aromas of cocoa and vanilla as well as notes of blackberries and hints of spice.
Palate: Generous and well-structured with ripe, silky tannins and flavours of black fruit.
Finish: Spice continues and rounds the finish off nicely.
Full and rounded with ripe plum and cassis fruit, notes of herbs, spices and a sheen of vanilla, from the world-renowned Rothschild estate.
