Description

Original Cask Strength Laphroaig is bottled at natural distillery strength with all the depth of genuine taste and texture normally associated with sampling whisky at source.

This cask strength edition of the classic 10 Year Old is matured in seasoned oak barrels which have been charred before filling.
 
Lightly filtered with a simple barrier method and bottled at a natural cask strength.
 
 
This 2020 edition is presented at 60.1% ABV.

Nose: Vanilla with sweet honey, tobacco, and a smoked oak hint.

Palate: Rich charred oak, yet more vanilla, rich toffee and fresh espresso.

Finish: Long and lingering with notes of peat smoke.

A top class whisky, i was so excited to find a 2020 release and for it to be so nice too is great. Its smooth yet sharp. Sweet but smoky. Very complex cant wait to have more!

