Until this time, many of the whiskies the range featured would not have been available as single malt.
Today, 'Connoisseurs Choice' retains this exclusive nature with a range of rare and sought after single malts from distilleries throughout Scotland.
A classical and superb Connoisseurs Choice old map label expression.
A 5cl miniature of a lovely old bottle of the ridiculously rare Kinclaith, this is from the 1966 vintage and was bottled in the early 1980s at 16 years old for the Connoisseurs Choice series by Gordon & Macphail.
"Please note, due to age and evaporation some miniature may be short filler."
Nose: Grassy and herbaceous, hints of citrus and oak, with a hint of alcohol.
Palate: Nutty & spicy and quite mouth-watering at the back of the palate.
Finish: Vanilla and spice. All in all very moreish.
