Port Askaig Cask Strength is a small batch release of cask strength Islay single malt, with no more than 60 casks used to create each batch.

The individual batches will illustrate the cask breakdown to allow consumers to compare the releases from year to year, as the wood and blending bring new flavour notes to the liquid.

This cask-strength release is an Islay single malt matured in first-fill ex-bourbon and refill casks, featuring beautiful, rich vanilla and oak spice notes, toasted oak and iconic Islay smoke. 

The higher ABV of this whisky provides a more concentrated flavour and oily texture.
