Distilled in 1998 using unpeated malt in unique Straight Neck Stills, this exclusive cask whisky started its life in Refill Bourbon, American Oak casks, then matured quietly in the shadow of Ben Lomond for 24 years, before being finished for 12 months in the finest Spanish Oloroso casks.
The Oloroso finish adds layers of rich dried fruit and nuttiness to the typical orchard fruit notes created from our remarkable stills.
Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered at 43.2% with natural colour.
Nose: Tropical fruits, citrus and a hint of spice.
Palate: Ripe peach and juice pineapple with dried citrus peel, raisins, toasted almonds and warming spice.
Finish: Long with meted brown sugar and vanilla sweetness.
