A celebration of Ledaig partnerships with Gordon Buchanan and Mull and Iona Community Trust, Triple Wood is a marriage of three casks: Bourbon, Port and Wine.
The three casks symbolise each partner working together to support, protect and conserve the unique island home.
The outcome is a unique and smoky dram, characterised by enticing notes of apple vanilla, smoky oak, toffee, and a lingering hint of maple syrup.
This limited edition Whisky is bottled at natural cask strength (53.8% ABV), non-chill filtered, with no added colour.
Nose: Sweet nose with notes of poached pears dusted with cinnamon, creamy butterscotch and American cream soda.
Palate: An initial burst of apple strudel an vanilla ice cream is balanced with cracked black pepper, wood smoke, toasted oak and treacle toffee.
Finish: Lingering smoky finish with cloves and a touch of maple syrup.
