Honest Galway - Four Jet Lighter - Gunmetal (HON34)

As you can probably tell from my other reviews, i bought quite a few lighters for different reasons. So, this one is going to be my Elite lighter, one for really bad conditions as its got a quad flame. First impressions were excellent as this lighter comes in a beautiful gift box, not cheap and nasty at all. The lighter itself is really well made, quite heavy and solid with a massive fuel window, which is excellent as its really clear. Now for the lighting, it is a beast!! four jets angled into one, very similiar to a F14 afterburner. lol. with the same effects if you get your finger caught in it. The protective lid flips open when you push down on the ignition and it lights with ease. You have to push the lid back down manually which is smooth,. there is also a flame adjuster which could be improved by adding a wheel to it but.. some prefer the valve types as they dont move once set. Unlike others with the wheel at the front which have a mind of their own sometimes. I Havnt taken it out in severe weather yet, but i have a feeling i can trust this to be able to light a fuel block in a downpour. Overall. Excellent if you want a hardcore lighter for a cheap price. and people forget, not all lighters are for smoking. Lighting a camp fire yes as you can direct the jet into the heart of it. Flame lighters are terrible for this, burnt thumb, melted lighter.. yep, been there, got the burnt tshirt and the scars to prove it. and theres not enough decent so called camping lighters out there, none as good as this anyway.
