The Hardcastle brand was founded in 1908 by Edmund Hardcastle before Alfred Dunhill fell in love with the brand and bought it in 1936. This gives Hardcastle a priceless heritage!
Hardcastle pipes are now hand finished by Master Pipe Maker, Simon Mitton.
Hardcastle pipes are made from a high grade of Spanish Briar and the bowls are stained not sprayed like many modern pipes which is more labour intensive but ensures they will never bubble with heat.
The mouthpieces are made from a more traditional Italian Vulcanite stem which is softer on the teeth and is the stem of choice for Dunhill pipes.
This After Lunch pipe has a smooth briar finish with a dark walnut stain. The rusticated lines around the bowl adds style and grip to this quality briar which has been hand made in England.
Supplied in Hardcastle box.
This pipe has been individually photographed, so that the pipe you see in the picture is the pipe you will receive.
