It is distilled from the Sotol plant - the Dasylirion wheeleri. The plants take 15 years to reach maturity, and it takes an entire plant to make just one bottle of sotol!
The reposado is aged for six months in new charred French oak casks with the end result working out to be an excellent one.

Nose: A spiced herbal nose with earthy roots hints. Grassy with lemongrass and hints of creamy sweetness. Palate: Sublimely creamy and smooth with more lemongrass which turns a little citrussy over time. Notes of spice, dark sugar and herbs. Finish: Yet more spices, oak. Overall a good length.
