A bottle of Grand Old Parr 12 Year Old De Luxe blended Scotch whisky, presented in a hand painted bottle.
This was bottled for the Italian market and imported by Manzuoli, we estimate in the 1970s
Old Parr is named after Thomas Parr, said to have lived to 152 years of age, he was interred in Westminster Abbey in 1635.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Note general wear. This appears to have a good fill level.
Nose: Fresh, rich, citrus fruits, oranges, ripe bananas, toffee, old books, touch of oak wood – Great!
Palate: Smooth, creamy, citrusy, woody, toffee, oranges, liquorice, sweet.
Finish: Medium long, warm, smooth.
