Glenturret claims to be the oldest active distillery in Scotland, but as is often the case with extravagant PR claims, the truth is never quite so simple.
This 8 Year Old Highland Single Malt miniature is a very rare Glenturret distillation that was bottled during the 1970's.
Please note as this is a vintage miniature, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Nose: A delicate nose with wood notes and a distinct mustiness. Notes of Eastern spices and zesty marmalade.
Palate: The palate is quite light-bodied and subtle sweetness from perfume with a solid oak and cut hay.
Finish: The finish is moderate length with a solid oak rounding things off nicely.
