Glenrothes Select Reserve: Appearance: Pale golden. Bouquet: American oak, vanilla and coconut, hint of plums. Palate: Full malty flavour, medium sweet, vanilla and orange zest. Finish: Long and slightly spicy.
Glenrothes 1998: Appearance: Medium golden, clear and bright. Bouquet: Rich, spicy vanilla, golden syrup and lemongrass. Palate: Soft, mature, sweet vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. Finish: Smooth, long, rich vanilla.
Glenrothes 1995: Nose: Buttery toffee apples and hints of allspice. A little bit of delicious milk chocolate, manuka honey, dates and cinnamon. Palate: American-style pancakes laden with cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup. Creamy malt, a splash of sherry and finally peanut butter. Finish: Long finish with toasted almonds and golden syrup.
