Based on the 15 year old Tawny port cask, Glendronach has released the 18 year old single malt whisky expression. Matured in European oak casks before treatment towards a finishing period in Tawny port casks for added fruity notes.

Nose: Sweet and bright. Hints of raspberry, strawberry and even a little citrus. Baking spices also pop up along the way, giving warmth and depth. Palate: Supremely fruity - masses of apple, red berry and fig notes. Tobacco leaf, black pepper and more oak than the 15 Year Old expression give it complexity. Finish:Oak continues on to the well balanced finish - spicy but sweet. Overall: A good step up from the 15 year old.
