The Glendronach 12 Year Old Sauternes Cask Finish single malt is initially matured in European oak before being moved over to casks which previous held the sweet wine - giving the whisky its own unique flavours and aromas.
Bottled at 46% ABV, this Benriach is a sweet whisky with some warming spices in the background.

Nose: Fresh fruits, apricots and nectarine slowly combine with honeydew melon and hints of overripe banana. A gentle aromatic floral note balances with vanilla to give a sophisticated back note.
Palate: Honey floods over sultanas and apples. A dusting of ground almonds, vanilla and creamy toasted oak combines with a vibrant citrus twist, giving a rich, spicy depth with a contrasting fresh balance.
Finish: Sweet, fresh and fragrant. Lots of finesse and elegance, whilst still maintaining the lively and youthful elements.
