GlenDronach distillery was established in 1826 and is located in the Forgue valley, near Huntly, Aberdeenshire, named after the source its water; the Dronac burn.
GlenDronach 12 year old Original has been matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. It is Non-Chill Filtered which means it's colour is a natural one, bottled at 43% ABV.
Colour: Deep amber-red gold.
Nose: Sweet, creamy vanilla with hints of ginger. Spiced mulled wine also features with pear.
Palate: Rich, creamy and silky smooth. Warming rich oak with a sweetness from sherry. A good kick of spice with raisins, soft fruits and a dry finish.
Finish: Long, full and firm.
