This Glendronach is the 6th batch of Glendronach's Grandeur series with this outstanding 24 year old being aged exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks.
The whisky in this release was selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker from some stunning Oloroso Sherry oak casks - this is yet another example from Glendronach which can only further enhance their already amazing reputation.
Bottled at 48.9% ABV and limited to 1180 bottles.

Nose: Sweet notes of dried fruits and citrus, with maybe an aroma of cherries and almonds. Herbal mint and a the slightest hint of cracked black pepper from the oak give a satisfying balance.
Palate: Sherried spices and golden syrup gets things started with a hint of floral honey, strong coffee and plump raisins.
Finish: Orange blossom and warming Christmas spices.
