A 13-year-old Glendronach as part of the distillery's 13th batch of single-cask releases.
Filled into a Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheon on 20th June 2002, this official single cask release of GlenDronach was bottled in January 2016 with an ABV of 54.8%.
A limited number of 641 bottles were yielded.

Appearance: Antique redwood. Nose: Delicious chocolate and sweet dates dusted in cinnamon sugar develop to rich leathery tones of nutmeg and clove, followed by a warmth of red chilli to spice things up. Palate: Toasted oak spices lead to a beautiful depth of dark raisins and stewed orchard fruits, laced with gentle vanilla, orange zest and candied ginger. Finish: Spicy and creamy!

This wisky is my favourite. Sweet spice, banana and milk chocolate filled my nose. When I took my first sip it really reminded me of an Eccles cake! The finish is beautifully creamy so will go down well with a dessert.
