This has also been matured in a Pedro Ximenez cask for 19 years before being bottled in August 2015 and only 683 bottles have been produced.

Palate: Vibrant candied peel adds a further edge to the sweet apricot syrup and a final dusting of cocoa leads to a delicate warmth of floral oak spices. Finish: High-cocoa content chocolate continues throughout the finish.

This malty whisky is perfect for me as I love dark tasting drams. Smooth with dark chocolate and robust orange tones. The chocolate flavours stay right until the finish.
