A 1993 vintage Glendronach released as part of the distillery's 9th batch of single cask releases.
Distilled in January, this was aged for 20 years in an Oloroso butt before being bottled in October 2013.
Each of the casks display truly remarkable characteristics; the malt whisky contained within having developed exceptionally during the maturation process.
Individually numbered by hand, each vintage release is an exclusive one-off, with only a limited number of bottles available.
Nose: Intensely rich dates and figs with fresh herbs, gentle clove and a kick of warmth from cinnamon.
Palate: Classic depths of fine Oloroso. Touches of toasted almonds and distant mint mingle in the dark, rich fruits and candied orange peel.
Finish: Rich theme continues from dark rich fruits.
