A bottle of Glen Moray 16 Year Old Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky presented in a Scotland's Historic Highland Regiments tin.
This tin depicts the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.
West Brewery was built on the outskirts of Elgin in 1828 and was converted into Glen Moray distillery in 1897.
Like many of its neighbours, the distillery suffered in the slump at the start of the 20th century and closed in 1910.
Nose: Sherried oak, butter toffee and delicate smoke.
Palate: Full-bodied and moreishly sweet. Imagine a spiced dark chocolate alongside a finely oaked wine, intense and satisfying.
Finish: Long and rich, the spice intensifies as the sweetness fades.
Whiskeybase has scored this Glen Moray 16 Year Old Highland Regiments in Presentation Tin 83.83/100 overall on their site through customer recommendations with one customer calling it ‘A complex and enjoyable full malt.’
