Distilled in 1955, this special release of Glen Grant single malt whisky was matured in first fill sherry hogsheads.
Bottled by independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail, owners of one of the most extensive collections of old casks, from Glen Grant and elsewhere, in Scotland.
This has matured for more than 55 years, very few distiller's spirits are able to stand up to the amazing quality spirits that Glen Grant can!

AROMA without water:
Cinnamon with rich fruit cake, rum and raisin aromas. Orange zest and charred oak notes develop with a slight peppermint edge.
TASTE without water:
Sweet and lightly spiced, soft fruit and Brazil nut flavours develop, which compliment the sweet Sherry character.
AROMA with water:
Sherry influences remain, fruit cake, rum and raisins. Hints of coffee and aniseed develop with a touch of bees wax.
TASTE with water:
Initially grapefruit, plum and dark chocolate flavours. A slight cigar ash edge lingers.
