Flor de Caña has a history of rum production which is dated to 1890 at the San Antonio Sugar Mill, in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua.
The company was founded by Francisco Alfredo Pellas and today, over 120 years later, the company is led headed by the fifth generation of the Pellas family.
Flor de Cana has grown to be not only one of Central America’s leading brands of rum but also one of the most recognised rum brands in the world.
The 5 Year Old from Flor de Cana is a truly award-winning rum; with a total of twelve international medals, including a Gold Medal and a Best in Class at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2005 and 2007 respectively.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Flor de Caña Añejo Oro 5
- Cola soft drink.
Instructions:
In a rocks glass, pour Flor de Caña over ice add cola and garnish with a lime or an orange peel.

Nose: Warmth from spicy notes with a rich toffee hnt developing alongside walnuts.
Palate: Spice continues and further develops alongside sweetness from marmalade and yet more rich toffee.
