This high-quality Edradour is bottled in cask strength and not cold-filtered.
Matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, the Edradour notes are rather soft and sweet and convince all along the line.
The bottle comes close to a fine decanter and is a great eye-catcher with only a limited amount of 380 bottles.
Nose: This vintage has all the classic features of Edradour. They are enriched by soft vanilla and caramel. Vineyard peaches, mandarin, and an unclear portion of coconut.
Palate: Light but not faint with caramel, lemon and maybe even a hint of coconut. Floral notes reminiscent of wildflowers and dry hay.
Finish: Medium length with a clear expression of sweet vanilla, fruity and floral notes.
