The Tasting Set provides a delicious insight which covers all bases into the stunning world of Highland whiskies!

This Highland Whisky Tasting Set contains:

Tasting Notes

Dalmore 15 Year Old:
Nose: Generous and sweet with delicious toffee, medium sherry and ripe oranges with an aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange marmalade.
Palate: Mandarin, vanilla, ginger and crushed apples. Sherry and Christmas spices.
Finish: Relatively long, nutty with hints of vanilla, yet more Christmas spices and oak.

Tomatin Legacy:
Aroma: Vanilla pods, marshmallow and sponge cake. Fresh fruits are next with pineapple, mixed with citrus lemon and finally boiled sweets.
Palate: Light and delicate with a sweetness which is peppered with hints of pine. Lemon sherbet, pineapple and crunchy green apples with a touch of freshly baked sponge cake.
Finish: Clean, light and refreshing.

Edradour 10 Year Old:
Nose: Medium, great complexity. Thoroughly fruity, sherry, sweetness, alluring vanilla.
Palate: Cloying, seductive murkiness. Rum, barley, toasted almonds. Some may find themselves lost in the mêlée, not quite enough method to the madness.
Finish: Any confusion is arrested: spiced fruitcake with crème anglaise.

Glencadam 21 Year Old:
Nose: Buttery and sweet with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, marmalade, toast and custard.
Palate: Spicy with oak-led spices, vanilla, cinnamon and allspice before a creamy hint comes in with creamy pineapple with hints of coconut alongside toasted barley.
Finish: Good length with oaky dryness and fruit.

Loch Lomond - Batch 2 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company):
Nose: Subtle gingerbread notes gradually revealing more delicate with creamy fruity and oak smoothness.
Palate: Prominent notes of ginger and red liquorice.
Finish: The finish is subtly spicy, with nutty biscuits and hints of red fruit.
