This box from March 2000 turned three years old this month, so it was time.

After washing the car, I pulled one out this afternoon and settled in on my back porch.

Opening the box overwhelmed me with that rich, familiar "barn-yard" aroma. I selected one with a slightly cracked foot; however, the remainder of the cigar was wrapped with a silky, colorado color with a fine, barely discernable veil of plume. after clipping, the prelight draw was just firm enough producing a rich, tobacco flavor with a hint of sweetness.

Lighting this cigar was wonderful. It immediately produced volumes of billowy smoke with a slightly cedar flavor, I have not always experienced with this vitola. A wonderful "toasty" aroma filled the surrounding air. About halfway through the smoke, the flavor changed slightly and smoothed out even more to an absolutely delicious finish. What really topped this off was as I sat in my chair smoking this beauty, I was watching another beauty (my lovely wife) doing yard work...there is nothing quite like watching a woman work while enjoying a great cigar.
