Nose: A gentle candied sweetness and a lovely light sherried fruitiness, toasted raisins, vanilla and sweet toffee, a hint of honey and a very gentle peppery spice.
Palate: More sherry than the nose told you was coming and in a very good way, mulled pear, sweet honeycomb, spiced orange, raisins a little toasted almond and some lovely oak.
Finish: Deliciously long, sweet honeyed vanilla'd oak is matched by the lingering sherry fruit.
