This 15 year old has spent two years being finished in Tawny port pipes from Douro Valley in Portugal.
Part of The Dalmore Port Vintages trilogy, showcasing the distillery's special relationship with pioneering winemaker W & J Graham's of Portugal's Duoro Valley, this 2001 vintage from the highland distillery begins as a complex assemblage of spirits from American white oak ex-bourbon casks.
Nose: Cinnamon, raising, chocolate, tangerine and exotic spices.
Palate: Caramelised peach and morello cherries with freshly baked bread.
Finish: Figs, coffee and Turkish delight.
