From the Dalmore Rivers Collection, Dee Dram limited edition whisky was released to help raise money for the Rivers Dee Foundation.
The Distillery donated a generous proportion of the proceeds from every bottle to this charity.
This Dalmore Rivers Collection contains 1 x 70cl bottle of the following
Dalmore Tweed:
Nose: Warm and inviting with seville oranges, crushed pears and apples. Marzipan and rich caramel follow, completing the bouquet.
Palate: Tantalising flavours of spicy ginger, marmalade and cinnamon, followed by whispers of nutmeg and toffee, leaving the perfect after taste.
Finish: Soft and subtle, in keeping with the nose and palate. Rich chocolate notes with coffee before lingering toffee to complete this Dalmore off nicely.
Dalmore Spey:
Nose: Warm inviting aromas of patchouli, jasmine and marzipan.
Palate: Christmas pudding, orange rind, hazelnuts and ripe cherries, followed by hidden flavours of Java coffee and rich treacle.
Finish: The finish is soft, subtle and dark in keeping with the nose and palate thus far. Continued chocolate notes with dark coffee as a warmth washes over for the burn. Lingering toffee in the mouth.
Dalmore Tay:
Nose: Somewhat brighter tones of citrus zest, red grapefruit with sugar, loads of red wine and spiced oak. Cranberry sauce.
Palate: Subtle flavors at first. Not immediately opening up to reveal anything predominately. Rich, salted caramel before the chocolate notes hit late in the mid-palate.
Finish: Loads of chocolate throughout the finish, hot cocoa with marshmallow, mingling with hints of sherry, but mostly chocolate.
Dalmore Dee:
Nose: Powerful and Positive. Full bodied with vibrant notes of spicy cinnamon, followed with dark roasted coffee and chocolate.
Palate: Enticing flavours of tangy orange peel, ginger, liquorice and walnuts.
Finish: Elements of the palate continue, followed by ripe plums and wild berries.
