A 70cl bottle, bottled at an ABV of 50.3%, the single refill hogshead yielded a limited number of 180 bottles.
Nose: Delicate and mellow with sweet vanilla followed by an assortment of fruit aromas - think banana, peaches and blackcurrants. Butter shortbread adding weight.
Palate: Creamy butter mouthfeel continued from the butter shortbread with red berries cinder toffee and dark chocolate giving sweetness and complexity.
Finish: Long and satisfying sweetness with a pleasant slightly dry hint with a touch of oak.
